Get into the spooky spirit with clay in your hands! In this beginner-friendly ceramic handbuilding class, we’ll create Halloween-themed pieces like pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns and ghosts!
These pieces will be made using raku clay and fired during our “First Friday” raku firing in the parking lot of Kadence Collective, October 3rd at 3pm. Raku is primitive Japanese-style pit-firing where items are removed from kiln while red-hot and plunged into combustibles. It’s explosive, addicting and instantly gratifying. The resulting pieces are metallic, smoky, and highly unpredictable (that’s part of the fun). Join us and adorn your fall table with hand made art!
